Along with providing service to every community in New England, we are also committed to be an asset to state and local police departments and various government officials. We have developed a safety program that is beneficial to police departments and their officers throughout New England. Our donated safety bag program provides police officers and first responders that have a relationship with Trauma Services the necessary personal protective equipment to keep themselves safe while responding to contaminated scenes.
Police officers and first responders have one of the only professions in the world where it is not always known what kind of environment they are walking into. It is imperative for them to keep not only themselves, but also their families, safe and protected. We fill each safety gear bag with PPE such as hazmat suits, high-risk, nitrile, and chemical gloves, booties, N95 masks, eye protection, arm sleeves, and hand-sanitizer.
Along with the donation of PPE bags, we also provide biohazard safety training that is designated specifically for police officers and first responders. Our training covers all blood-borne pathogens, exposure control plans, fentanyl safety, etc. We perform the training seminar at the department’s convenience. Please contact us for more information and to set up a training date/time.
