
Introduction to photography course designed to assist law enforcement officers and investigators with the general use of their cameras through lecture and photographic exercises.
Lecture will focus on assessing the investigators skill level, purpose of photography, getting to know the controls and settings of your camera, use of flash and ambient lighting, and exposure techniques utilized to capture the high quality photographs necessary for accurate representation of crime scenes for presentation in court.
Emphasis will be placed on overall documentation of crime scenes and physical evidence encountered on scene or in a general laboratory setting as well as proper storage of digital images.
